Catalina Island

Just off the Californian coast, Catalina Island is the largest of the Channel Islands of California, a chain which runs east west from Catalina to San Miguel. Whether it’s the warm climate or the smell of fennel and eucalyptus, Catalina Island is one of those islands with a unique and very relaxing atmosphere.

Catalina Island is a world-class destination for travelers expecting to be pampered at a spa in its town center of Avalon. Avalon has a wide beachfront which is easily walkable where you can find all the major shops, hotels and a wealth of restaurants selling Italian, Mexican and American style food.

The seas around the Catalina Island are very clear, making this a fabulous destination for snorkeling and diving. Catalina is widely known for its flying fish, celebrated in the island’s Flying Fish festival every June. Don’t miss opportunities to see dolphins, sea lions and seals.
